This is just a reminder that there will not be a meeting of the St Albans Support Group for Parkinson’s in the month of Nov. We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and may you "take stock" and enjoy the many Blessings we have all been given.

There WILL BE a meeting on December 12 from 10 am to 11:30 am at The Homestead, a Pillsbury senior Community located at 3 Harbor View Drive, St Albans. A presentation of Christmas music as well as a time of gathering and discussion regarding the “soon to be sent” Support Group suggestions. There will be a meeting on January 8, 2018 and the topic will be a short presentation on Diet and Nutrition done by Jarrig Visser and Judy Jobe. Time has been allotted during both months for sharing and talking about concerns, improvements, changes desired, or other questions that you may have.
The group is open to those with the disease, their caregivers including family and loved ones as well as those wanting to learn about this disease. The monthly meetings can provide an open forum to share experiences with others who are coping with the illness, gain education and support as well as provide recommendations for dealing with the day-to-day care. Participants can learn from each other, meet new people, have discussions, and listen to presentations.
