The annual Christmas Candlelight service at the historic Starksboro Village Meeting House will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. John Burbank will lead a program of lessons and carols, and other special music. The sanctuary will be lit by many candles and the 1884 mirrored oil lamp chandelier. This non-denominational service has been held for nearly 50 years and is a Christmas tradition for many area residents.
Enjoy the spirit of the season in this historic building, built in 1838-40 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Special Christmas cookies, other treats, and hot cider will be served after the program. Everyone is welcome. Please join us.
