DETAILS: Care about efficient transportation, sidewalks, safe roads, good food and beer? Come share your thoughts about important and exciting future developments in our Town and Village.
We are in the early stages of a significant "Better Connections" funding grant application. We invite you to the "table" to share your thoughts and opinions about improving transportation in and around Hyde Park in the context of smart, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable economic development. Examples include discussions and thoughts about sidewalks; bike paths and bike lanes; possible roadway and traffic controls; connections with the rail-trail and areas of interest in and around Hyde Park; safe and efficient ways to connect both sides of Route 15; parking in the village; and many of your ideas yet to be shared.
The Better Connections grant - administered through the VT Agency of Transportation and VT Agency of Commerce and Community Development, application due 1/31/18 - provides funds for design and planning of efficient means of transportation and connections in and around Hyde Park. Opinions and local involvement (i.e. YOU) is critical to successfully driving the grant application forward.
Come enjoy an evening of fine Italian victuals, excellent local brew, and be ready to share your opinions.
Delicious (and free) food will be provided by Pizza on Main. Beer and other beverages available for purchase at the bar.
