Just a quick reminder of our local annual Veteran’s Day ceremony at Battery Park this coming Saturday. It’s a great way to show respect and appreciation to our Veterans for their service to our country. It starts at 11:00 am sharp and is usually over by 11:30. Dress warm – it’s usually pretty cold in Battery Park!

This Saturday November 11 at 11:00 AM we will be hosting our annual Veterans Day celebration in Battery Park, this year there will be a special presentation by the VT Air National Guard to Mayor Weinberger at the beginning of our ceremony. Following the Veterans Day event there will be an Open House at VFW Post 782 on S. Winooski Ave. We look forward to a great turnout by our Veterans and the community. Hope to see many at Battery Park.
