The Ripton Conservation Commission has petitioned for the Reclassification of the 66-acre Beaver Meadows Wetland Complex from Class II to a Class I designation with a proposed 400-ft buffer. This wetland and buffer complex is within the boundaries of the United States Forest Service land in Bristol, Middlebury, and Ripton.
This is an opportunity for the public to see a presentation about the wetland, ask a few questions, and offer public comments.
The petition is currently on public notice.
