Chuck Miller graduated from The Berklee School of Music with a degree in Music Composition and has been writing, recording and performing his music in casual venues for 40 years. Chuck recently retired from a wonderful teaching career at Mary Hogan Elementary. He has accompanied singers such as Sandra Wright, Francois Clemmons, Rick Redington, and others. He’s been music director and accompanist for many local musical theater productions and arranged the music for all the “Middlebury Does” series for Town Hall Theater (Rock and Roll, Motown, Woodstock, Christmas and others). This concert is the first time he has formally performed this music for the public. It’s a melding of jazz, pop, folk and rock; something for everyone to enjoy.
Chuck Miller on piano, with Steve MacLauchlan on woodwinds, Glendon Ingalls on acoustic bass and trumpet, Bear Irwin on trombone, Rick Redington on guitar, Ron White on bass, and Nick Aloi on percussion.
The performance will be recorded live, with pre-sales of CDs or MP3s on November 10th.
