Join us for the final screening in our Vermont Reads Film Festival at the Aldrich Public Library! "I Am Not Your Negro" is a 2016 Oscar-nominated documentary based on James Baldwin's unfinished novel. It is a searing examination of the story of race in America narrated by Samuel L. Jackson. Rated "98% fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes. Discussion afterwards led by Mark Hughes. This screening is part of the Aldrich Public Library's Autumn celebration of Vermont Reads/Barre Writes, inspired this year by Jacqueline Woodson's Memoir "Brown Girl Dreaming".
