Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains (GSGWM) will present a free information session for girls and their parents/caregivers on Wednesday 11/8/17, 6:00-7:00 at Rumney Elementary School. At this event, girls get a chance to experience their first Girl Scout meeting and earn a patch, while parents/guardians learn more about Girl Scouts and what it means to be a volunteer with Girl Scouts. Girls and adults will be able to register at this event and we hope to start a new troop as a result.
No pre-registration is required – just come be part of the fun at Rumney School from 6:00 to 7:00 on Wednesday, November 8th. If you have questions or need more information, please call 1-888-474-9686 or check out our website at www.girlscoutsgwm.org.
GSGWM serves more than 9,900 Girls throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. With the guidance of more than 5,000 dedicated and trained Volunteers, Girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of Girls together. Through hundreds of programs offered each year, Girls develop their leadership potential through activities that enable them to discover their values, skills and the world; connect with others in a multicultural environment; and take action to make a difference in the world.
Girl Scouts builds Girls of Courage, Confidence, and Character and our Alumnae are living proof of that. 80% of female tech leaders, 76% of female U.S. Senators, and 100% of female secretaries of state were Girl Scouts.
