Woodland Fairy Home Workshop

Past event
Nov 12, 2017, 2 to 4 PM

Please come join the UCH Youth Group and local Art Educator Susan Lepple for an afternoon of creative woodland fairy house building! We will have all of the supplies that you need to build an imaginative woodland fairy house to take home. Susan has been instructing and inspiring youth and adults to create homes out of natural objects for many years. Sites include schools, businesses, and private events. This is an experience open to all ages and abilities!

This workshop is a fundraiser for the Hinesburg Youth Project's 2018 middle school and high school youth service trips.  The Hinesburg Youth Project (HYP) is a community based program that helps area youth explore issues of social justice and service. Each year, young people go on weeklong trips during the summer that engage issues like urban poverty, food insecurity, environmental conservation, institutional racism, LGBTQ rights and animal protection. The program aims to educate young people about these important issues and offer tangible ways to making this world a better place. HYP is an initiative of the United Church of Hinesburg and is open to young people in Hinesburg as space allows.
