No Strings Marionettes, “Scrooge, A Christmas Carol”...The No Strings Marionettes presents this Holiday Classic, “Scrooge, A Christmas Carol” in the Brandon Town Hall, Sunday, November 12 at 1:30 pm. Your entire family will enjoy this timeless story, told through the magical artistry of puppets. Dan Baginski and Barbara Paulson bring 18 large-scale marionettes that whisk you through the Good Ole Streets of Charles Dickens' London. If the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future can awaken the forgotten love and joy within stingy Scrooge's heart, just think what the story can do to encourage the everlasting Spirit of Christmas in us all. Puppeteers Dan and Barbara have toured America for over twenty years, dazzling children and adults with their marionette magic. Most of the time, the marionettes perform on the puppet stage, but part of each show is geared toward extending the stage into the audience's realm. These incredible puppeteers' perform in full view of the audience so they can see the mechanics of a lavish puppet show. After the performance, the audience is invited to come up on stage to inspect the marionettes and the other tools of the Puppeteers' trade. Come early and join us at 1:00 as Dan and Barbara lead us in a carol sing with all your favorite Holiday tunes. Tickets...Adults, $7....Seniors (60 & up) Students (17 & under) Military, $5.
