"The Burlington Choral Society is singing Alexander's Feast in the beautiful cozy sanctuary of College Street Congregational Church next to the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington. I love the venue and I am loving the music too.

This was the first piece that Handel wrote after immigrating to England and has a wide variety of melodies, textures and emotions that I love so much about his Messiah. It starts out bombastically then settles down into the complexities of the celebration.

I hope that you can join us for what promises to be a joyful, sad, celebratory evening."
