Community Conversation at the Library

Past event
Nov 14, 2017, 4:30 to 5:30 PM

Where are public libraries headed? What does Springfield need for good library service? Join a lively Community Conversation at the Springfield Town Library, Tuesday, November 14th, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. We only have room for fifty people, so please register now. Call the Library at 802 885-3108 to sign up, or use the Community Conversation link at the website, springfieldtownlibrary.org.
The conversation will include a show of hands for library use (how often? Use computers? Hang out? Borrow Books?) and a flying slide show on the weird and wonderful things public libraries do. No preparation required—though feel free to think about what ONE thing you want the Library to do.
Staff and board are writing a new strategic plan, based on the ideas and aspirations of Springfield. Need to know more? Call the Library at (802) 885-3108. We look forward to seeing you November 14 at 4:30 pm!
