Our Stories and How We Tell Them. Explore the VT Reads book, Brown Girl Dreaming, with poet Ina Anderson. "The book tells the story of one American girl growing up in Ohio, South Carolina, and Brooklyn NY in the 1960s and 70s. Some of her story is familiar to us, yet much is unfamiliar.” Anderson invites adults and young adults to share their memories of growing-up, and perhaps find a story or a poem of their own.
