Border Board Games

Border Board Games is a tabletop gaming group that meets every 3rd Saturday at 5pm at the Derby Line Village Hall in Derby Line, VT. The village hall is located at 104 Main Street and the next time we meet to play is this Saturday, Dec 21st.

We play a variety of non-traditional, strategy based board games like the Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Carcassonne. Never heard of these? Don't worry. We gladly teach new people how to play these games. If you love traditional games like Clue, Risk, Scrabble, Cribbage, Hearts or Spades, you will love these games. Also, if you are a scifi or fantasy fan (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Firefly), you will also love these games. Bring your own games or just show up and play.

Many of the members have also played Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. The hall is large enough that if you wish to show up to play Magic or use the space as a location to run a role playing group, that is fine with us. There are lots of tables and chairs and we'd love to see more tabletop gaming.

The hall does have a kitchen where you can keep beverages cold and heat up any food in a microwave. There is a Irving mini mart across the street as the only place to buy food and drink in town so if you want to eat or drink something specific, bring your own. We also provide light snacks during the game nights that anyone is more than welcome to eat.
