A message from my daughter Emma:

Refugee Outreach Club Inc. is a local nonprofit that strives to connect young adults around the world through education, curiosity, and service. On Sunday, November 12th, we are proud to be announcing our very first Fun Run in collaboration with Intervale Community Barn in Burlington. The run will be timed by Track Life Timing, a local business that volunteered for the event. Sam Paulino and Somba, two local artists, will provide music and entertainment. You don’t have to run to participate in this event, just showing up will strengthen our community. Check-in begins at 11, and the race will start at 12. The end time is very flexible and will depend mainly on the weather and how much fun everyone is having dancing, eating, and socializing.
