On Monday, October 30th the Varnum Memorial Library is hosting an all-ages discussion of the first Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Adult Harry Potter fans welcome! Starting at 7 p.m., we will examine the book that transformed children's literature as we know it. 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of it's first publication. While you're here, come meet our youth Harry Potter Book Club and take a look at what we have been doing each Tuesday. We will have their Harry Potter-themed crafts on display. For children not able to join us on Tuesdays, this bi-monthly Monday night final discussion of each book is a great way to still participate!

We will also have a limited number of copies of Book 2 available for our next discussion. Please let us know if you need a copy!
