Across Roads Center for the Arts is delighted to present Leslie Roth leading “Mixed Fiber Amulet Workshop” on November 4, 9am-2pm as part of the Fabric of Our Lives exhibition at the Grange Hall Cultural Center. This fiber arts class will walk participants through the process of designing and creating a mixed media amulet using a variety of skills as well as yarn, fabrics, fibers, and embellishments.
Leslie Roth is a sculptural fiber artist and published knitwear designer with more than a decade of teaching experience, and an exhibitor in Fabric of Our Lives.
Class fee is $35 for Across Roads Members, $40 for non-members. Limited scholarships available. Class size is limited, so sign up early!
Participants should bring a bag lunch as well as small amounts of various yarns, knitting needles to match the yarn, crochet hook, yarn or tapestry needle, embroidery floss, buttons, or other small objects. The instructor will also provide some fabrics and embellishments.
