Everyone is cordially invited to attend the 6:00 pm Lighting of the Tree of Remembrance at the Castleton Free Library on Thursday, December 19. Co-sponsored by the Library and the GFWC Castleton Woman's Club, the holiday event will include storytelling and a carol sing by the fireplace, selections by middle school musicians, refreshments, and a visit by Santa. Community members are invited to honor loved ones by donations to the Tree of Remembrance; donation forms are available at the Library and other locations in Castleton and Fair Haven. The donations are used to fund local scholarship aid.
