Two exciting classes coming to RCK in November - sign up now, space is limited to 12 in each class!
Unpacking Your CSA
Ever wondered what to do with all those veggies in your CSA? We will join together and unpack a Jericho Settlers Farm CSA, reviewing and brainstorming ideas on how to use the share. We will also prepare one dish together (each person has their own cooking station for this hands on part!) using some of the vegetables plus some provided added ingredients for you to take home. You needn't be a CSA member to join - we will provide whatever veggies you might need for the dish.
Tuesday November 7th 5-6pm
$25/$30 (class will be offered monthly - 10% discount if you sign up for 4)
Ethiopian/Eritrean Cuisine - Vegetarian Dishes
Join Alganesh Micheal on a journey of learning simple techniques to prepare ethnic food that is rich in flavor. Ethiopian/Eritrean cooking relies on a diverse range of herbs and roots to develop characteristics quintessential to the cuisine. In this hands on class, we will be making a variety of vegetable dishes that will be served with Injera. Injera is unique staple food to both countries best known as the spongy sourdough flatbread. And the best part: you'll experience the culture as we eat freshly cooked delicious food at the end of class!
