One of the most comforting forms of support you can give a person with cancer is the use of touch. This inspiring and authoritative program provides detailed instruction from local expert Catherine Cerulli, M.Ed. in cancer support and oncology massage.

Catherine will teach safe and simple techniques anyone can learn and apply. You’ll learn safety precautions, positioning on home furniture (bed, sofa, chair at kitchen table), frame of mind, communication, and simple techniques for the head and face, neck, back and shoulders, hands, and feet. There is also instruction in acupressure for pain, anxiety and nausea. Each participant will go home with new skills and a detailed instructional handout that includes all techniques covered in the workshop, as well as additional resources.
