Racing City Chorus & Men O' War Balladeers to Perform

Past event
Nov 11, 2017, 7 to 9 PM

The Men o’ War Balladeers are incredibly excited to be opening for Racing City Chorus at this special fundraising concert. We are based here in Cambridge, and our five teen members have been singing traditional North American and Celtic music across the area since the spring. We perform at assisted livings, breweries, libraries, and our beloved Hubbard Hall, with a repertoire ranging from room-filling, five-voice sea shanties, to delicate, solo love ballads. We recently recorded our debut album at KBW music in Greenwich, which is slated for release this fall. More information can be found at https://themenowarballadeers.wordpress.com/ . We would like to thank our families, Cambridge United Presbyterian Church for inviting us to perform, and Hubbard Hall for their contribution of rehearsal space.

Racing City Chorus is an extraordinary group of gentlemen who gather together in celebration of the artform known as barbershop music. They are a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. They are on Facebook. Check out their page at https://www.facebook.com/RacingCityChorus or their webpage for information on barbershop https://racingcitychorus.org/

Tickets are $20 and all the proceeds benefit the Capital Campaign of United Presbyterian Church. You can get your tickets by calling the church office (518.677.3863) or they can be purchased at Glens Falls National Bank's Cambridge Office.

While at the concert you will be able to check out first hand the newly repaired stained glass windows.
