EarthWalk’s mission is to inspire and empower children, families and communities to reconnect with and care for one another and the Earth through long-term community and nature-based mentoring. Here is a link to our website.
What Is EarthWalk After School?
A weekly (Mondays 3:30-6pm) outdoor nature mentoring program for children ages 7-12. With the guidance and support of skillful and caring mentors, students work together in small groups to learn about and care for one another and the land. Students engage in hands-on seasonal outdoor activities, including: sensory games, natural crafts, fire-making, tracking, harvesting and cooking wild foods, singing and storytelling.
What is the "Free Visit Day"?
This is an opportunity for new families to see if this program a good fit for their child in the 2017-18 school year. Your child will have the chance to experience a day at EarthWalk ...Our hope is that they'll have such a great time that you'll sign them up for the rest of this school year!
How do I sign up?
