EarthWalk Open House October 26

EarthWalk Vermont is having an open house this Thursday! Here is an excellent opportunity to learn more about our Village School, a Nature Mentoring program in Plainfield for children ages 6-12. We hope you are able to join us.There is still room Wednesdays and Thursdays to enroll your child for the rest of the school year.

Time: 9am -12pm, Thursday, October 26th.

Meeting Place: EarthWalk Entry Shelter at Goddard College, Plainfield VT. From Route 2 in Plainfield, turn onto 214. Take your first left into the main entrance of Goddard College (Pitkin Rd.) Follow that road down to the lower parking lot. The Entry Shelter is on the far end of the Lower Parking Lot.

What to bring:
* Clothes for the weather (sun and/or rain protection)
* Full water bottle and a snack
* Questions and curiosity!
* A parent/guardian with visiting children

What to expect: As folks arrive and mingle we’ll have a nature museum to explore and some games in the field. Around 9:10 we’ll circle up for introductions and nature news updates before heading into the woods and up to Hawthorn Meadow. Up in the meadow we’ll come together to share some thanks and light a fire the old way. After that we’ll have snack and play some more seasonal games and then break into fun activity stations for the rest of the morning. There will be time throughout the open house to talk with Anika about any program questions you might have. At noon the Village School will gather for lunch and we’ll say farewell to our visitors.
