The November Featured Artists Reception will be held at the Artist In Residence Gallery on Main Street in St Albans on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4:30 to 7:00. Please join us for some light snacks, good company and beautiful art from these four featured artists.
STEVE BOAL has a passion for nature and uses photography to capture and remember his travels by foot and canoe. After a multifaceted career in a variety of fields, he now enjoys sharing the natural beauty that surrounds us. Steve is one of November's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
SHANNA RATNER makes one-of-a-kind tile mosaics from recycled ceramics. She also makes block prints that are individually carved, inked, pulled, and sometimes painted. Like her mosaics, each print is unique and has its own natural variations. Shanna is one of this month's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
PATRICK MURPHY
Patrick Murphy had a traditional art education and became a high school art teacher. In addition to constantly drawing, he prefers to paint in oils. Patrick loves the little towns of Northern Vermont and New York, and his latest paintings feature scenes from these locations. Just as Patrick does, viewers can imagine walking down the streets, and entering the buildings. Patrick is one of the November featured artists, at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
PAM KROUT-VOSS is best known for her art works using fibers, including vessels wrapped in varied textures and colors, and sculptures of birds, pears, and animals. In addition to her fiber work, Pam creates handmade journals and sketchbooks which incorporate fibers and her own decorated papers. Pam is one of November's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
