Free program for parents, teachers, friends, coaches, police officers, nurses, faith leaders and any other adults who make a difference in young people’s lives. Wednesdays November 8 and November 15- Waitsfield Elementary School. Pre-registration required.
This 8- hour program is intended for adults to learn how to help young people experiencing mental health challenges or crises. It reviews the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents ages 12-18 and emphasizes the importance of early intervention. The free training program has been broken into two 4-hour sessions from 4:30-8:30 pm, on Wednesdays November 8 and November 15 at the Waitsfield Elementary School. Light supper fare will be provided.
