This week's OLLI talk will be about the history of the granite industry. Scott McLaughlin, Director of the VT Granite Museum will present "The Granite Cutters' Story: A History of Vermont's 200 Year Old Granite Industry." Scott will outline a tale of hope and loss; of the eager immigrants whose dreams shaped our nation's cemeteries, parks, and public architecture.
