Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Lydia and Lydia will be giving a homily on "A Sense of Place", sharing thoughts about their family's love for the different spaces on their farm through music, storytelling and mindfulness videos. Lydia the daughter will discuss how historically marginalized populations, and others who have lost land and homes through displacement, violence or discrimination, have limited opportunities to have a sense of place. Both Lydias will also talk about the vision for the Clemmons Family Farm and the potential for the Farm, together with friends and neighbors from near and far, to develop "A Sense of Place," where people of all races and cultures can celebrate African American and African art, history and culture and build a loving multicultural community.
Please join us at All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne on Sunday at 5 pm.
With love,
Lydia, Lydia and Jack
