The Essex Selectboard and Village Trustees will hold a joint meeting on Tuesday, October 24 at 7 PM. The meeting will be held at the Village Offices at 2 Lincoln Street. The agenda includes the following items:

-Public to be heard.
-Municipal Manager Pat Scheidel will present an employee resolution recognizing George Murtie for 33 years of service in the Essex police department.
-Trustee Elaine Sopchak and Selectboard member Sue Cook will present the final report and recommendations from the Public Works Consolidation Committee.
-Max Levy, chair of the Essex Selectboard, and George Tyler, Village President, will update the boards on the manager recruitment process. This may be done in executive session.
-The boards will amend previous motions for a 1993 appointment to the Property and Casualty Intermunicipal Fund (PACIF).
-The boards will evaluate the municipal manager. This may be done in executive session.
