"From Expensive to Affordable: Vermont's Health Care Future" the 13th Annual conference of the Vermont Alliance of Retired Americans will be held on October 28th at the Montpelier Senior Center beginning at 8:30 am with coffee and registration followed by an update on Sanders' Medicare for All national health insurance program legislation by Sheila Reed; an overview by Dr. Deb Richter of proposed legislation to provide Universal Publicly Financed Primary Care for All Vermonters, with Paul Cillo of Vermont's Public Access Institute; and a panel addressing the prospects for achieving Primary Care for All in 2018. Over lunch participants will discuss strategies for building support for Primary Care for All, and then view the American/Canadian film : "The Healthcare Movie".
