A Poverty Simulation is an opportunity to participate in an experience that will sensitize you to the day to day realities of life for people with low incomes trying to survive. Participants assume the roles of under-resourced family members living on a limited budget. There will be opportunities to interact with other volunteers playing the roles of service providers and other community agencies to obtain help. After participating, many share that they could "feel the chaos and fear caused by living in poverty." Participants begin to understand the difficult choices that must be made daily. SPACE LIMITED. Location: Washington County Building Pls call Christine Barber to register 792-3537 or bridgeswashco@gmail.com
