City Council Public Safety Meeting Re: Homelessness

Past event
Oct 19, 2017, 5:30 to 7 PM

The City Council Public Safety Committee will be meeting tomorrow at the Fletcher Free Library Community Room at 5:30PM to discuss how the Council may better support the good work of community partners serving those in our community experiencing homelessness.

The Burlington City Council recently unanimously passed a resolution directing this committee to bring together a range of community partners to better inform the Council on this complex issue and make recommendations on actions the City Council may take. There will be time on the agenda to hear from organization and agency representatives, as well as a public forum. All are welcome to participate in sharing your experience, ideas, and opinions.

I am confident that our discussion will be constructive and informative. You can review the agenda at the following link: https://www.boarddocs.com/vt/burlingtonvt/Board.nsf/Private?open&login#

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or thoughts. I can be reached directly at 802.777.3255 anytime.

All my best,

Adam Roof
Burlington City Council
Chair, Public Safety Committee
