Attorney Jim Barlow will be at the Historic Jamaica Town Hall Tuesday, Oct 24th at 6pm to discuss the ins and outs of Open Meeting Law. 

The program will cover the practical requirements for Vermont Open Meeting Law compliance.  Attendees will learn:

When (and to whom) the Open Meeting Law applies
The four Open Meeting Law fundamentals
Open Meeting Law exemption and exceptions, including appropriate use of executive session
Technical requirements for meeting notices, agendas, and minutes
When and how board members can use e-mail, Facebook, and other electronic communication platforms.      
The program is delivered in an interactive format, with lots of opportunities for questions and feedback.
