The Clarina Howard Nichols Center is pleased to invite the community to their Annual Meeting on Wednesday October 18th. The event, which will take place at the recently opened Black Cap Coffee and Beer in Morrisville, begins at 6pm with light refreshments and informal interaction with Clarina’s Board and Staff. Clarina is grateful to Laura Vilalta, Black Cap owner, for hosting this event.
Highlights of the evening include:
• Meeting Clarina’s new Executive Director, Becky Gonyea, and hear her vision for the organization’s future.
• Presentation of the 2017 Visionary Voice Award to Colleen Twomey, Clarina’s Coordinator of Legal Advocacy. The Award given by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, recognizes the creativity and hard work of individuals around the country who have demonstrated outstanding work to end sexual violence. Auburn Watersong, Associate Director of Public Policy at the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, will present the award.
