This Thursday, in Boston, there is a mass meeting led by Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II and the Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, co-chairs of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. Here in Cabot, we will be watching a livestream of the event at Headwaters Garden and Learning Center, starting at 7:00 pm.
The New Poor People's Campaign is building a broad and deep national moral fusion movement -- rooted in the leadership of the poor, the marginalized, and moral agents and reflecting the great moral teachings from all faith traditions -- to unite our country from the bottom up.
If you would like to join us here, please RSVP to gwenhs@gmail.com. If you would like to watch the livestream from the comfort of your own home, the link is:

If you would like to go to Boston for the event, a group of people led by Justice for All and Vermont Interfaith Action are meeting in the Vermont Department of Labor parking lot in Montpelier at 1:00 pm on Thursday to carpool to Boston. The meeting is at the Trinity Church at 206 Clarendon St. in Boston.
