Lyndon Institute would like to invite our surrounding communities to join us in participating in the following upcoming events:

Homecoming Brunch and Time Capsule Dedication: Saturday, Oct. 21st, 10:00am - Noon
All are welcome to join us in the Lyndon Institute Dining Hall for a community brunch prior to the rivalry football game between LI and St. Johnsbury Academy. Our Menu consists of fresh cut fruit with yogurt and granola, VT pumpkin walnut muffins, house baked cinnamon rolls, stuffed french toast with VT apples and cream cheese, smoked bacon and cheddar quiche, assorted mixed green salad with cranberries, candied pecans, maple balsamic vinaigrette, VT maple ham, scrambled eggs, home fries, coffee, tea and juice. Cost: $10 per person, 12 and under $5. During Homecoming Brunch, we invite you to join us as our 150th anniversary time capsule is dedicated.

The Game: Saturday, October 21st, 1:00pm
Go Vikings! Opportunities to show school spirit during the 113th SJA vs. LI rivalry game will include a spectacular entrance for our football players, featuring a gauntlet of Viking shields.

HUGE Homecoming Raffle: Saturday, October 21st, Halftime of the Big Game

This year, at The Game we are honoring Lyndon Institute’s sesquicentennial with a special raffle. We will be selling $100 raffle tickets to celebrate 150 years of Lyndon Institute!

The first prize winner will receive 15% of the pot, second place receives 10% and 3rd place receives 5%. The remaining proceeds will go to the Lyndon Institute Independence Fund which supports every student and program at LI. There is no limit on the number of tickets sold. For example, if 100 tickets are sold, the first place prize would be $1,500, second place prize would be $1,000 and 3rd place prize would be $500! Purchase your tickets ahead of time by calling Heather Wheeler at 802-535-3772 or stopping by the LI Campus Store (located in Thompson Cottage) between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
