This Saturday (14th) be sure to get to the best spirited Square & Contra Dance venue around. Bring a pair of non-street shoes, as is the custom at all such venues. Be ready to have the evening of your life, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (7:15 for anyone who wants a few pointers in advance of the dance). As if the atmosphere upstairs (in the Willey Building/Cabot Public Library) wasn't enough of a draw; this Saturday's caller is the renowned Dudly Laufman of Canterbury NH (if you're not familiar with him, you can find many references in a quick google search).
If you can walk, you can Contra/Square dance. Really. If you're a "little rusty" OR a complete beginner, you'll be having a grand time. Those with some level of experience are always right there ... ready to help you glide into the next step if you ever have a moment of "where / what next". Never any judgmental tones. Just real people having a real good time.
Bring your partner, family, friends.
Solo? NO problem :-) Many are.
All ages. All levels of experience. All about a good time!
Some beverage is supplied, but it's always a good idea to bring along your favorite juice/tea/water, etc.
The Willey Building is across from the hardware store in Cabot. Off street parking behind the building.
