Hey neighbors - many of you might remember our daughter, McKinley, whose dedication to her cello playing brought her to New England Conservatory.

She joined a band shortly after starting school, and now a year in, they have an astonishingly good CD that is just coming out. I know I sound like a proud mama, but it actually ranked #6 on the Folk Music Charts, so other people think so too! ^_^

Traditional acoustic music with a jazzy twist, strings, sax accordion, voice and percussion. We're hosting a house concert as a CD release party for them Saturday night (Oct 14th) and all are welcome. 6pm potluck supper, 7pm music. $20 goes to the band.
