Today is the day you've been waiting for: the day the TIC Program and schedule go live! Read on to find the link and check it out. October 14th is just around the corner, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome you! We'd like to stress that TIC is for everyone, regardless of identity: it's a safe space for everyone - trans or cis, activist or ally, long-time community member or first-time attendee - to be in community and grow together.
REGISTRATION
Registration is FREE - but space is limited - so save your spot by signing up today. The committee relies on passionate, dedicated volunteers to help the day run smoothly. If you’re interested in volunteering let us know! go.UVM.edu/ticattendee
PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE
Looking for something specific? Only available for part of the day, but want to be sure you see your favorite presenter? Fear not: the schedule is live. Check out the program at go.UVM.edu/ticprogram17
YOUTH SPACE
This space will provide queer and trans youth a space to commiserate and decompress with each other, and provide a safe space for parents and caregivers to leave their little ones so they can attend conference sessions. More info in the program linked above.
THEMES
Conference sessions this year have been broadly defined by theme: healthcare, education, trans 101, and intersections & activism. A page in the program contains a helpful guide to themed sessions, helping you find exactly what you’re looking for.
KEYNOTE – CHRIS MOSIER
Chris Mosier is an award-winning athlete, founder of TransAthlete.com, and the Vice President of You Can Play; please help us give him a warm welcome!
As always, drop us a line at tic@UVM.edu if you need anything at all, or visit our website at go.UVM.edu/tic for more detailed information.
