Come learn about this grassroots organization of Israelis and Palestinians which brings Jews, Muslims and Christians together for monthly tribal fires.
The Sulha Peace Project brings Israelis and Palestinians together for Listening Circles. Instead of discussing positions, which so often leads to arguments and conflict, in Sulha participants share personal experiences and feelings, creating bonds of empathy and affection. Rabbi Amita Jarmon of Jerusalem serves on the Steering Committee of Sulha and is also an active member of Rabbis for Human Rights. She will make a presentation and then lead us all in sharing the experience of a Listening Circle. Tuesday Oct 10 at 7pm at Beth Jacob Synagogue, Montpelier.
