Plans for the Festival of Pumpkins are well on their way. Pumpkins have been picked and are awaiting the carving which will take place on Sat. Oct. 21st and Sun. Oct. 22nd at the senior center. Sat. from 9-6 and Sun 9 until all are carved. They will be displayed in the circle on Sat the 28th and Sun the 29th.
Interested in helping? there are several ways, carving, helping to set the pumpkins up(12 on the 28th), lighting them at dusk on Sat., helping to change candles on Sun.(@3:00) and helping to dispose of them on Mon at 6 a.m.
We also need candles and wrapped candy for the trick or treaters. Items can be left at the flower shop(upper Main ST).
Thanks to all who came to the pumpkin patch and braved a rather soggy period. You are amazing!
