Your Ward 1, Ward 8 NPA's are sharing time this coming Wednesday, Oct 11th, with City Councillors Sharon Bushor, Richard Deane & Adam Roof.
As previously posted by Richard Deane, our City Clllrs are hosting "a one-hour informational, open forum, dedicated to a presentation and follow-on discussion of the options available to us for the sale of Burlington Telecom".
This omnibus meeting will open at 6.30 p.m. in the McClure Lobby Conference Room at the UVM Medical Center on Wednesday, Oct 11th.
So:
The agenda for the entirety of the two Meetings will look like this:
6.30 p.m.: City Councillors Forum on the options available for the sale of Burlington Telecom. Hosted by Cllrs Bushor, Deane & Roof. This will last approximately one hour.

7.30 p.m.: Welcome and Introductions
7.35: City Council Update.
7.50: Speak Out & Announcements
8.10: VELCO executive Scott Mallory to describe the "East Avenue & Queen City Substation Improvement Project". Public Comment is sought for the ramifications of this project and should be of particular interest/concern to Centennial & East Avenue neighborhood residents (and UVM Medical Center transportation management?).
8.30: Marcy Esbjerg, CEDO, presents the City Of Burlington's "Assessment of Fair Housing".
9.00 p.m.: Close
NB: The promised discussion with DPW and BPD on traffic & pedestrian safety, the nexus between Traffic Enforcement and Traffic Engineering, has been postponed.
There will be free on-site parking in the McClure Garage, thanks to UVM MC.
