Geoff Kaufman, a fine singer with a big voice and a great eye (and ear) for inspiring and thought-provoking (and sometimes funny) songs and stories, will be doing a House concert at Burlington Cohousing on Thursday, October 12th at 7:00 pm. As Geoff explain on his web site - http://geoffkaufman.com -- his songbag includes “Songs of the sea, songs of the earth, songs of the heart and the spirit. . . . Ancient ballads, work songs, and songs of love; poignant songs of people in struggle, humorous glimpses of human foibles, and insights into history.” Geoff’s voice has long resonated from Pete Seeger’s Hudson River Clearwater sloop, from the decks of vessels in the Mystic Seaport Maritime Museum, and from sailboats on which he has led many sea/sailing/singing excursions in Maine. . . . We’re excited that he’ll now be heard in Burlington Cohousing. For more information or reservations, please call 399-2459 or email jsp1@psu.edu.
