The holidays are upon us and Montpelier Alive would like to invite you to the first annual New Year’s Eve Chili Cook-Off! Come down to Langdon Street on New Year’s Eve and warm your heart and belly by tasting delicious chili made by some of your favorite local restaurants and vote for a winner. Members of the community are welcome to try all of the entries at the tasting.

In addition to the Cook-Off there will be music and activities for the kids like face painting, snow sculptures and other fun games. Thanks to our partner, Cabot Creamery, we will have lots of tasty Seriously Sharp Cheddar cheese to complement our local chili masters.

The winner of best chili will be awarded a chili bowl trophy and the title of Best Chili in Montpelier and most importantly bragging rights! The Cook-Off will take place on December 31st, 1:00 pm-3:30 pm on Langdon Street in downtown Montpelier.
