Tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the South Royalton School, there is a community meeting. There is also an upcoming vote on October 24. The vote is over the following: (1) whether to consolidate our school with Bethel (which is a pretty major item),(2) which school board members to elect if we do consolidate (we have to vote on board members at the same time we vote to consolidate, under the Secretary of Ed’s regulations), and (3) whether to approve a $.5M bond to finish construction of the new town library.
