Ward 1 NPA: Neighborhood/Public Safety Dec. 11

Past event
Dec 11, 2013, 7 to 9 PM

A last-minute reminder that this month's Ward 1 NPA Meeting focuses on Neighborhood and Public Safety.

If we haven't been the victim of home invasion, burglary or theft from a vehicle, it's almost certain we know a neighbor who has.

Almost all of us have experienced the work of geniuses who ignite firecrackers late at night or inflict walk-by noise that keeps us awake in the early hours.

And we have surely seen the vehicles who blithely drive thru neighborhood Stop signs and red lights, whether they be out-of-town trucks, high-end SUV's, down-at-heel clunkers or bicycles.

Karen Vastine (Community Justice) and BPD Officer Olofson will discuss the Neighborhood Safety Initiative and the results of their recent survey. And BPD Lt.Lawson will introduce his role with responsibility for our community and discuss BPD initiatives regarding personal and public safety, crime prevention and enforcement, and traffic behavior. Plus anything else on your mind.

You're enthusiastically encouraged to join us to discuss all the above and anything else on your mind, at the Ward 1 Neighborhood Meeting on Wednesday, Dec 11th, at 7.00 p.m. at Fletcher Allen's McClure Lobby Conference Room - Thanks to FAHC for the use of their space, and also for FREE Parking in the McClure parking garage.

We look forward to you joining us and helping to make your neighborhood a better place.
