Mt Abraham Renovation - Info at Lincoln School Oct. 6

Hello Fellow Lincoln Residents,
Planning for a renovation of Mt Abe has been in the works for many years. As many of you know, the building is tired and has numerous safety issues that need to be addressed. In Lincoln, we are fortunate to have had a comprehensive renovation of our school in 2010-2011. The Lincoln school building continues to be safe, warm, and beautiful. Not a day goes by that I am not deeply grateful for the contribution and commitment to children and education demonstrated by our town. Our children, all ANESU children, also attend Mt Abe, and the time has come to uplift the school where our 12-18 year-olds spend six years of their lives.

On Friday, October 6, from 7:45-9:15, Superintendent Patrick Reen will be at LCS to discuss informally the Mt. Abe renovation proposal. Please join him and the LCS community. We have an Early Bird Breakfast starting at 7:45, open to all ($2.50 for adults; $1.50 for children). Our weekly All-School Assembly starts at 8:15--all are welcome to attend. Patrick will be available after assembly until 9:15 to continue the discussion. Please join us and him if you're able.
