Past event
Oct 7, 2017, 7 to 9:30 PM

Come to the Sukkat Shalom (Shelter of Peace) at 10 Harrison Avenue for a truly special film presentation co-sponsored by the Social Justice Committees of Christ Episcopal Church and Beth Jacob Synagogue. The event is FREE and all are welcome!
"On the Banks of the Tigris: The Hidden Story of Iraqi Music" tells the story of a Muslim man determined to recover the music of his youth lost to him when he fled Iraq. Discovering that most of the composers were Jewish, he travels to Europe and Israel to meet with them, ultimately arranging an extraordinary concert that crosses more than geographic borders.
Please join us in celebrating the holiday of Sukkot (Tabernacles) when we rejoice in the harmony of being together.
