Want to Think Globally Act Locally? Come to Our Oxfam Planning Meeting

Hello!

I am the lead volunteer coordinator for the Oxfam Action Corps in Burlington, VT, and we're looking to start working on some events for the spring.

We had an eventful summer, with tabling events at concerts and farmers markets, and we had a great film screening this fall. Now we want to start planning for a few bigger events in the spring, including an International Women's Day event, and perhaps a Hunger Banquet as well.

Do you have ideas about what Oxfam Action Corps in Burlington should be up to? Do you want to help bring some great speakers to town (or do you know of some local folks who would make great speakers)? How about showcasing how Vermonters can help use their love of local and sustainable agriculture to improve food security and justice throughout the world?
