Have a business idea? Champlain Valley SCORE will kick off the 2017-2018 SCORE Education Series with "Simple Steps for Starting Your Business," which will help new or existing businesses to develop and test business ideas. An overview of the skills and tools needed when deciding to start a business will be presented along with an overview of what it takes to own a business. Topics will include: the advantages/disadvantages of owning a business, business structure choices, along with the fundamentals of formation and organization.
You will leave with tools and resources to make an educated decision if entrepreneurship is right for you. Look for the rest of the SCORE series the second Wednesday of the month which address common issues facing today's small businesses. Champlain Valley SCORE is your local source for no cost mentoring for the life of your business.
Also, bring your ideas for a future topic or discussion to any of the SCORE volunteers for consideration, along with your feedback.
