Naturalist, Photographer & Author Mary Holland hosts a presentation Wednesday, October 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the historic Woodbury Town Hall. This adult and children’s author shares a multi-media presentation and hosts a lively discussion about New England’s natural history. Her award-winning 'Naturally Curious: a Photographic Field Guide and Month-by-Month Journey through the Fields, Woods, and Marshes of New England' contains day-to-day observations, both informative and engaging about particular plant or animal activities likely to happen on that day. Mary Holland has worked at the Vermont Institute for Natural Sciences and the Massachusetts Audubon Society, and has comes with a wealth of experience and lore. Generously supported by the Woodbury Conservation Commission and the Woodbury Fund, this evening promises to inform and entertain.
